Abstract

This article analyzes the academic production on peace pedagogies through a systematic literature review based on the PRISMA methodology. The search was conducted in the Scopus database covering the period from 2020 to 2025. An initial corpus of 249 articles was identified, of which 13 studies were selected for the final analysis after the screening, eligibility, and inclusion stages. The findings reveal a high level of conceptual dispersion surrounding peace education and a predominant focus on school coexistence within qualitative research approaches. Additionally, limitations were identified regarding the evaluation of the impact of pedagogical interventions and the consolidation of specific methodologies for peace pedagogies. The study concludes that this field of research requires greater methodological rigor, the incorporation of mixed and quantitative research designs, and stronger evaluation processes to generate evidence on the effectiveness of pedagogical strategies implemented across diverse                               educational contexts.
