The informant as a key person in qualitative research

The purpose of the following article is to show the reader some of the author's conceptions and points of view about the meaning and importance of the informants. Turning these into the key people for those studies where the approach is from the qualitative paradigm. The informant is the center of all research because, through his experiences, he can help the researcher in various tasks, such as opening up access to other people and new scenarios, as well as fostering relationships in context to study social "reality".
