Abstract

Nowadays, education has been characterized by a constant evolution in relation to the strategies and resources used to provide knowledge to students; it is appropriate to point out that nowadays, it is necessary to assume the new ways of teaching and therefore the resources that must be taken from technologies to strengthen knowledge; thus, the objective is to reflect on the new alternatives to strengthen connectivism through network learning in Colombian students of basic secondary education. The methodology used is framed in the documentary analysis; which is reflected in a scientific essay; which becomes a significant contribution for teachers to have alternative strategies and resources for the teaching and learning process to be effective; reason that leads to incorporate technology in educational processes; however, it is pertinent to point out that a set of elements focused on the demands of today's society are assumed; thus, the theoretical and procedural bases to be applied in different learning situations are established. It is important to indicate that the research development resulted in a set of actions that should be followed in order to ensure quality education; thus, it is evident that networked learning is an innovation that should be used to improve academic performance and thus focus actions on generating attention, good treatment and welfare in educational actors such as students, teachers and parents representatives.
