Abstract

The technological development that has occurred in recent times is one of the references for the use of these media in a variety of aspects, because they allow mediatization through actions of access to technology and the training and communication processes that are found. implicit in society, in this sense, its adoption in formal education is of fundamental importance, however, talking about technology, as a generic term, implies having a very broad approach to it, hence, the selection of networks social, whose rise is every most notable day and is formulated in accordance with a mechanism of human interaction that is very valuable for the various communities, in the case of the students, their expertise in the use of them is appreciated, in this regard, it is one of the elements that strategically employed can have a positive impact on the teaching of reading and writing, for this reason, the purpose of this article is to understand the existing theoretical postulates regarding the definition of social networks as a strategy for teaching reading and writing, for this, a documentary investigation is carried out, whose selection of references is based on the interpretation of this particular, likewise, it is pertinent to mention that as results the importance of social networks is determined as strategic mediating elements in the development of didactic processes, which is why it is concluded that these are a strategy that favors the management of literacy in school spaces.
