In the social sciences, different models have been built to make theoretical contributions. In this panorama, the Reality as a Source of Theory model emerges, which seeks to interpret popular thought in all its breadth and depth. The following research, coming from the tutoring action and the implementation of said model, attempts to answer questions such as: How important is the experience using the model to make contributions? How can the model be complemented? How important is it? How important is the tutoring action in understanding the model? Methodologically, in this research, from a qualitative approach and with the use of the hermeneutic method, which is sheltered under the interpretive paradigm; Two significant subjects were taken whose interpretations of the model come directly from the tutor-tutee relationship. Among the findings are revealing three relevant dimensions: (a) experience using the reality model as a source of theory, (b) contributions and (c) tutoring action.
