PHYSICAL EDUCATION IN VENEZUELA, A CHALLENGE IN TIMES OF COVID-19

The purpose is to unveil the situation presented in the Venezuelan educational environment, with Physical Education, its didactics, praxis and the challenge that represents its teaching through virtuality, with the arrival of the pandemic. In the distance modality, it is necessary to rethink the methodology of how to teach the discipline based on the body, as it is of a practical nature, which is complemented by theory and is now being affected. Its purpose is the education of the body and movement, it is to educate the whole person. In order to carry out this research, documentary research was applied as a methodology, based on the review of authors related to the subject. We concluded that there is currently a need to rethink the methodological process of teaching and learning through virtual technology.
