The treaty focused on knowing, through research studies and specialized literature, the influence that emotional intelligence exerts on reasoning and decision-making, to provide solutions to problems (heuristics) within the tutorial path in the preparation of works. research. As a factor of concern for both the tutor and the tutee, the question arose: How to stimulate heuristic reasoning by using emotional intelligence in the tutorial journey? In this sense, the emotional competencies proposed by Goleman (1999), the skills of the emotional intelligence model of Mayer and Salovey (1990), and the heuristics and cognitive biases according to Kahneman and Tversky (1974) were analyzed and interpreted. Comparing this psychological black box, under the interpretive paradigm and the hermeneutic method; Emotional intelligence is reflected and highlighted as a toning dart in the processes of heuristic reasoning in research production and in the tutorial process.
