CRITICAL VIEW ON GENDER IDENTITY. REGIONAL SOCIO-POLITICAL PROJECT

Abstract

With the critical vision on gender identity, we seek an approach or a panoramic look at the social phenomenon called Gender Identity, outlining some basic concepts and their re-semanticisation as part of a dynamic of social re-engineering as a strategy for the exercise of political power in the region, vision in some countries and the snobbery used in the media as instruments of social thought and values. The critical vision is based on a review within the documentary framework, relying on online documents, interviews and videos. The categories of the structural method, semantics and the sociological method were used in the methodological orientation, arriving within the final considerations to outline some of the features present in the social development of the nations of the Latin American region. A close assessment of the realities of the countries was made.
