https://mail.revistas.upel.edu.ve/index.php/gaceta/article/view/4467

This essay presents the implementation of lateral leadership at the educational level,
which guarantees a different way of influencing management teams. In this sense, its objective was to analyze lateral leadership as a transformation influence in Venezuelan
educational management teams. It was based on the theoretical foundations of Tovar
(2024), Torcatt (2020), Fisher and Sharp (1999). Methodologically, the essay is based on
an ongoing investigation, which is framed under the qualitative approach, based on the
review of information, the technique used being content analysis and as an instrument an
interview script and the field notes kept by the researcher. All of this, accompanied by a
descriptive-reflective process, integrated into the five-dimensional approach to research.
It is concluded that lateral leadership promotes participation to achieve the objectives of
the institution and to promote the link between organizational actors.
Martín Segundo Guerrero Talez

https://mail.revistas.upel.edu.ve/index.php/gaceta/article/view/4717

University organizations have undergone significant changes in their evolution, originated by the need to respond successfully to the demands of a society that every day makes them more demanding and changing, which has led them to make great efforts to improve towards the achievement of educational quality, adopting new theoretical concepts, oriented towards formal restructuring and the implementation of skills in the management of new technologies, which has become a new challenge today, since globalization requires innovation in the various strategies, techniques, actions, among others, to make knowledge reach the individual in the most appropriate way to the demands that are demanded. Knowledge management and ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) together shape the way research, teaching and learning is carried out in university education.
Ligia E. Callejas R

https://mail.revistas.upel.edu.ve/index.php/gaceta/article/view/4736

Although certain expressions, such as pedagogy, ethics, truth, should be clear, it is
also appropriate to mention who Friedrich Nietzsche and Michel Foucault were, as
well as the probable role they could play today by linking them to what is nowadays
known as “Artificial Intelligence”. As Nietzsche is one of the thinkers who have
contributed to culture, there have been many opinions and topics in which this prolific
character has participated, being one of them the topic dedicated to education, as
well as Nietzsche, we find Foucault, who thanks to his archaeological and
genealogical research, used a series of concepts and precepts that account for
education, such a situation tends to overflow, since the information collected over
time becomes education where notions such as training, pedagogy and truth go
beyond any simple understanding. With the irruption of the so-called Artificial
Intelligence (A.I.) many questions arise and generate a series of conjectures, which
put under a constant unknown how to act. Faced with this doubt, it is appropriate to
take shelter in the thoughts of the aforementioned authors, who with their discourses,
full of knowledge, provide a guide to the uncertainty generated by the so-called A.I.
From this point of view, we will try to elucidate the importance of their notions related,
from a distance, to this artificial intelligence. From a philosophical and pedagogical
point of view, these thinkers seem to be the safest path to follow, since the breadth
of their discourses allows not only to concretize ideas but also to leave no loose ends
in their construction.
Jonathan Rodríguez

https://mail.revistas.upel.edu.ve/index.php/gaceta/article/view/4716

Do we speak Spanish or Castilian? Some, based on political criteria, decided that the lingua franca of the Spanish people, since the 13th century, should be called Spanish, due to a kind of linguistic chauvinism that seeks to attribute ownership of the language to the Spanish. On the other hand, a scientific criterion is proposed according to which languages must be identified by their lineage; that is, by their origin, by their family tree, regardless of geographical criteria. Furthermore, the scientific criterion recognizes the constant renewal of a language's vocabulary according to the times and places of its use. It is accepted that a language has dialects that reflect the peculiar idiosyncrasies of its users. According to all scientific evidence, Venezuelans speak a Venezuelan dialect of Castilian, and Spaniards speak a Spanish dialect of Castilian. The Spanish language does not exist; speaking of the Spanish language is a meaningless phrase.
Haymara Harrington de Leal

https://mail.revistas.upel.edu.ve/index.php/gaceta/article/view/4737

Behind those who control the algorithms, it gives the impression that there are ideological
groups with very clear interests. The main problem of artificial intelligence—whether
special, general, or superintelligence—is that it lacks common sense, a biological body,
feelings, emotions, intentions, dignity, among other capabilities. This narrative addresses,
from the perspectives of ethics and education, the topic of how modern technologies
accelerate our lives, shortening distances and fragmenting time into countless moments,
opening the way to multiple beginnings that rapidly lead to other beginnings that end
quickly so we can start experiencing other experiences that are as ephemeral or even
more ephemeral than the previous ones.
Evelio Salcedo

https://mail.revistas.upel.edu.ve/index.php/gaceta/article/view/4714

Academic stress refers to the pressure and anxiety that students face due to the
demands of the school environment. The objective of the study was to propose
strategies for managing this anxiety that strengthen the academic performance of
basic education students. The research was framed in the positivist, field and
descriptive paradigm. The information was collected through a questionnaire with closed questions aimed at children and parents, using intentional non-probabilistic
sampling. The results indicate that, since the post-pandemic, educational and social
situations have arisen that have caused stress in children, negatively affecting their
school performance. It is concluded that it is necessary to reinforce study habits, such
as carrying out tasks independently, encouraging responsibility and promoting
autonomy. To achieve this, it is essential to implement effective strategies to address
this phenomenon.
Ana Carolina Guapaz Oviedo

https://mail.revistas.upel.edu.ve/index.php/gaceta/article/view/4711

alumnos.

Rafael Darwin Santillán Tuquerres

https://mail.revistas.upel.edu.ve/index.php/gaceta/article/view/4470

The theoretical guidelines for the promotion of managerial competencies allow responding
to challenges in crisis scenarios in the educational context. Its objective was to identify
the managerial competencies that teachers and directors must acquire in their
performance in the context of basic education institutions. A systematic review of
databases such as Redalyc, Scielo, and Dialnet was used, locating 20 articles according
to the keywords, published between 2012 and 2022, peer-reviewed, available in English
and Spanish. It was possible to show that managerial skills allow better administration of
institutions and knowledge management in favor of the different demands to guide a
comprehensive educational quality. It is concluded that management knowledge, skills
and attitudes are essential to obtain excellent results in organizations, identifying these
competencies is a necessary task to achieve organizational success and enhance human
talent.
Arnobis Gómez Monterroza

https://mail.revistas.upel.edu.ve/index.php/gaceta/article/view/4712

This article focuses on the fundamental role that communication between family and school
plays in the teaching and learning process of students in the City of Medellín. Its objective is to
formulate a system to develop effective communication processes, thus contributing to collective awareness about the levels of coresponsibility in the search for structural improvement
of education. This study was carried out within the framework of qualitative research, with
emphasis on participatory action. The results were obtained using instruments such as focus
groups, discussion groups, interviews and triangulation.
